How to make thick smoothie bowls?

Do you want to know how to thicken smoothie bowls? I have the answer for you! The key is to have a high ratio of frozen fruit to liquid. The frozen fruit is thicker and makes it so you don’t even have to use ice in your smoothie bowl.

I use a high-powered Vitamix blender and it has a tamper which helps to push the frozen fruit towards the blade so you don’t have to use as much liquid.

You can also use a high-powered Ninja blender, a Blendtec blender, or even a food processor.

What liquid is best to use in a smoothie bowl?

Here are some ideas for liquids to use in smoothie bowls — cow’s milk, any type of nut milks such as almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk, coconut water, or apple or orange juice.

If you want a sweeter bowl, use apple juice. If you want a creamier bowl, you canned coconut cream.
